Basic Life Support (BLS)

The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Heartsaver CPR AED is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. All Heartsaver CPR AED course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.

Heartsaver First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.

Bloodborne Pathogens

Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms such as viruses or bacteria that are carried in blood and can cause disease in people. There are many different bloodborne pathogens, including malaria, syphilis, and brucellosis, and most notably Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV) and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).

I have gone to Med-Cert since 2012 for my CPR certification and I just love this class. They make it fun, easy to learn, and the class sizes are small. The CPR CLASS was great! The instructor was professional, knowledgeable and a joy to have as an instructor. You can really see he Loves his Job and knows his stuff!

Took the STNA program and it was great. Teacher was amazing and made the learning process fun. Definitely recommend. Not too sure about the 1 star review. I didnt have a problem at all getting employed.

I attended the phlebotomy Tuesday & Thursday day program for 8 1/2 weeks and would do it all over again if it was free! I Recommend this facility for anyone looking for quick & excellent training in a field they provide! All the staff were helpful & very friendly. I love med cert!!
